Senior Lecturer in Microbiology and Public Health
School of Veterinary ScienceExpertise in diagnostic bacteriology and molecular /genomic epidemiology of infectious agents. Significant areas of research include Cryptosporidium and cryptosporidiosis, Staphylococcus aureus and antimicrobial drug resistance. I teach Bacterial Diseases in the BVSc curriculum. Currently, I supervise one PhD student.

Calf scours research conducted at Massey Universit
I gave a 3-minutes filmed interview on my work with PhD student Julanda Almawly on neonatal calf diarrhoea in New Zealand dairy farms. The interview was filmed in my lab and was broadcasted on 17 Mar
